About this deal

The battery compartment is pretty straightforward, except it only holds two AA batteries, which gives you a big hint about its power output (spoiler: it’s not super powerful, but it’s great). Just press the Mode button once and the screen now displays an M at the top and the current power setting at the left of the screen, in the form of a fraction, so that 1/1 is full power.

As a master unit, TT350 series can control the following slave unit models: AD600, AD600M, AD360II, AD200, etc. As it happens with all current Godox flashes, it has an integrated transceiver so it can control other flashes or it can be controlled remotely through Godox’s proprietary radio frequency system. All in all, I would say you are heading in the right direction, but it's still early in your journey. I posited a theory on POTN that the use of the new wireless ID code feature might help with RF interference, but was pretty much voted down by more tech-savvy voices. Some other folks report they can get cross-brand TTL (I can with my XPro-F on my Fuji X100T), but it also may not work. It is also part of a robust flash system from Godox, which includes both speedlights and flash heads. Godox TT350o flash in any way with Sony? Can I use a Godox TT350o flash in any way with Sony?

There's also no remote zoom control (but then I didn't have that with the XPro-O on my GX7, either). I'm sure the other brands are just fine, but I found plenty of credible recommendations for Godox and couldn't find any sensible reason to pay more for anything else. That missing 90º drives me nuts, since I love bouncing behind me and with the TT350, I can only do it over my right shoulder, not my left (well, not unless I'm willing to break the neck on the flash, which isn't a great idea since you can then keep twisting until wires break, but is doable). As with any on-camera flash aimed directly at the subject, the light is hard and not particularly flattering. In Slave mode you can only set the channel, by pressing and holding the SLAVE button and rotating the wheel; and you can also set the zoom, by pressing the Zoom button.I only have a Flashpoint for TTL Fuji (I think Flashpoint is Adorama's private label brand), but I just tried it in the Sony A7 iv hotshoe and it seemed to work (I was actually kind of surprised).
